South Shields Women return home on Sunday as they look to make it five wins in a row in all competitions when they take on Ossett United Women (1:30pm kick-off).
A dominating first-half blitz saw the lasses put five goals past last week’s hosts Harrogate Town AFC Women before Tianna Hill sealed the 6-1 win with a tap-in after the break.
Ossett United played their first game of the new year last week in an exciting 3-3 draw against Ponteland United Women - their top scorer Debbie Hastings netted a brace and now has 14 goals for the season, so she will be looking to continue that hot run of form at the weekend.
Last time we met
We travelled to West Yorkshire back in November and completed a comeback in a 3-1 win - watch back the highlights from that game here.

“We’re really looking forward to the game on Sunday.
“We know the level we’re capable of and we’re in a good place as a group, while fully respecting the challenge Ossett will bring.
“The standards have been high all week and the group is focused and ready.
“We’ll be going into the game confident in what we do and ready to put in a strong performance.”
