India Reynolds joins SSFC Women ahead of the new season

India Reynolds has joined South Shields Women, becoming the sixth new arrival ahead of the new season.

The defender made 18 appearances for Sunderland West End Ladies in the 2025/26 season, a team which faced the Mariners four times in all competitions.

She is already familiar with Eve Jones, who was the club’s top goalscorer last term, and Reynolds is no doubt looking forward to meeting the rest of her new teammates in the coming weeks.

After joining the club, she said: “I can't wait to get started with the girls and am really looking forward to seeing what success we can achieve together this season.

“I'm excited to be part of such a great club with big ambitions, and I'm ready to give everything I can to help the team succeed.”

First Team Head Coach Alex Miller added: “We are delighted to announce the signing of India Reynolds.

“A composed and versatile defender, India reads the game exceptionally well, is strong in a tackle, and leads effectively from the back. 

“She will be a key addition to our squad this season.”
