South Shields FC Women
South Shields FC Women was founded in June 2013 to give young women over the age of 16 in the town and surrounding areas a chance to develop their footballing skills and be part of the wider South Shields FC family.
SSFC Women is fully affiliated with South Shields Football Club and is part of the club’s FA Charter standard status.
The club is focused on providing the best possible facilities and equipment available to its players at the lowest achievable cost. All abilities are catered for and players are encouraged to develop as respectful and positive young adults both on and off the pitch.

The Women's and Girls' Pathway comprises a First Team (competing in the NERWFL Premier Division, tier 5), a Reserve Team (competing in the DCFA Women's First Division, tier 7) and an U17s Girls' Team (competing in the Russell Foster Youth League).
If you want to join or get involved with the women's football team, whether as a player, coach or sponsor, please get in touch.
