We asked some of the lasses across both our First Team and Reserve Team squads for their favourite moments of the season so far - read below for their answers!

Sam Curzon: “Personally, it has to be when we faced FC Hartlepool, because the atmosphere after coming away with a draw showed us just how much we’ve improved, and more importantly, how close we’ve become.”

Jayde Hart: “A favourite moment that comes to mind was our 3-2 win against Stockton.

“We fought hard for the three points that game!

“Everyone made sure to put into place the plays we had practiced in training and it really showed.

“We came together properly as a full team that day and because of that we secured the win!”

Faye Killeen: "My favourite moment of the year has to be the comeback against Alnwick because it showed the team's hard work and determination.

"It was a really good moment to be a part of and I think since then we have gotten much stronger and became a better team!"

Julie Raffel: “My favourite moment from this season was the comeback win against Alnwick because it truly showed what this team is about and what we’re capable of.

“It was also my first official game with the team, and from that very first moment, everyone made me feel included and supported.”

Amber Robinson: “My favourite moment so far has been the first home win with the Reserve Team; it was really nice to finally see our hard work in training and games pay off to get a good result in an enjoyable game.”

Jen Wootten: “So far, I would say my favourite moment is probably the other week when we beat Spennymoor 4-0 in the League Cup.

“I think it was a real all-around strong team performance, a clean sheet, and we played some great football during that game!

“Everyone worked hard for each other and it showed.”

Anna Yeakey: “I think one of my favourite moments from the season so far is being down 3-0 at half-time against Alnwick in the FA Cup and coming back to win the game on pens!

“Saving a pen was one of my personal favourites and celebrating with the girls.

“True grit and determination to earn that win.

“All-around great performance from the team!”

All of the teams in the game are based on real-life NFL teams. To escape copyright problems, Retro Bowl makes similar jerseys and uses the city's name instead of the team's name.
