South Shields Women host Sunderland West End Ladies under the 1st Cloud Arena floodlights on Wednesday night (7pm kick-off).
It is the team's first midweek match of the season, with the lasses hoping to put together a strong run to end the NERWFL Premier Division campaign on a high note in the coming weeks.
They will no doubt be in high spirits following Saturday night’s 3-0 victory against Harrogate Town AFC Women, in front of more than 900 supporters at The Exercise Stadium.
Sunderland West End come into the game following an impressive 5-1 home win against Wallsend BC Women - Jessica Ellison bagged a hat-trick while Isla Maggs netted two.
The two teams have already met twice this season; a 4-4 draw back in September in the league, and a penalty shoot-out win in the DCFA Women’s Cup just before Christmas.
