South Shields Women entertain Ponteland United Women under the floodlights this Friday (7:45pm kick-off).
The lasses are back in action following a week off after their planned visit to Brunsmeer Athletic Women was postponed.
Ponteland United, meanwhile, won 4-0 last time out against bottom side Sunderland West End Ladies.
They have a number of games in hand over the other teams, so tonight's game could be pivotal for the visitors, who currently sit in sixth place, in terms of climbing up the ranks.
That applies for Shields too in fifth position, who must win their games in hand to challenge the top four spots.
Last time we met
A dramatic final few minutes saw Ponteland United take a late lead before Kelsi Hoot netted in the 99th minute to secure a 2-2 draw in February - watch the highlights here.
