South Shields Women aim to end 2025 in style when they travel to Wallsend BC Women this Sunday in the NERWFL Premier Division (2pm kick-off).
After last week’s successful 4-0 NERWFL League Cup victory over high-flying Spennymoor Town Ladies, the lasses look to carry that momentum into this weekend’s fixture against a Wallsend BC side who are winless in the league this season.
Shields find themselves in eighth place in the table, with a number of games in hand over much of the division still, while Wallsend are rooted to the bottom in 11th.
The two sides have met twice already this season: firstly, in the league when Annece Legg scored four in a dominating blitz, and secondly, in the League Cup when Julie Raffel netted a hat-trick.
