Job Vacancy: Futures Academy Coach

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly-motivated, skilled and experienced coach to work within our Futures Academy programme based at Mortimer Community College.

This is a full-time position working with student-athletes aged 11 to 16, and the successful candidate will join our team of coaches responsible for delivering and continually developing the programme.

The purpose of the Futures programme is to help young people become the very best they can be in football, education and wider life.

The club operates in partnership with Mortimer Community College to offer aspirational young footballers a comprehensive five-year ‘football in education’ experience from Year 7 through to Year 11.

The student-athletes in the programme have an adapted curriculum to facilitate in-school football training, complemented by before and after school sessions.

Each year group also participates in a range of national, regional and local competitions throughout the year.

The operating hours for this position are Monday-Friday, predominantly during day-time hours, with a minimum of one evening per week.
