South Shields Women Co-Head Coaches Sophie Clough and Alex Miller have spoken following today’s 4-0 win against Spennymoor Town Ladies in the NERWFL League Cup Third Round.
Read what they had to say about the game and the key talking points below.
“We’re super proud and happy of the team performance today - fantastic for Annece to get a hat-trick, Madison getting her first First Team goal and [they] collectively worked together to keep a clean sheet.
“We’ve always known what we can do and what this group can accomplish as the season has been progressing.
"Today it all came together in a dominant 4-0 win, which allowed us the opportunity to give new signing Natalia Campbell her debut, along with valuable minutes for Amber Robinson who saw a move back up to the First Team.
“Excited for the team to be through to the next round of the cup!”
