Will McGowan joins Blyth Spartans

Will McGowan has joined Blyth Spartans for an undisclosed fee, bringing his two-year spell with South Shields to an end.

The midfielder joined the Mariners in 2021 and went on to make 45 appearances for the club, scoring six goals.

He spent much of the 2022-23 season on loan with Blyth, and the 20-year-old has now moved to Croft Park on a permanent basis.
