South Shields Women conclude their 2025/26 NERWFL Premier Division campaign with a trip to Brunsmeer Athletic Women this Sunday (2pm kick-off).
The lasses are yet to make their longest trip of the season - in the league at least - and they will now come up against the Sheffield-based side.
They made history last time out as the Mariners reached the NERWFL League Cup Final with a 2-1 win against a hard-working Birtley Town Ladies side, but the focus now is on securing three points to round the league off successfully.
Brunsmeer Athletic were victorious in their last game, which was a 4-2 away win against Ossett United Women.

Alex’s thoughts
Head Coach Alex Miller spoke ahead of this weekend’s game and here’s what she said.
Jen’s thoughts
Jen Wootten is looking to end the league campaign on a high note this Sunday.
She said: “It’s been a long season but everyone is still motivated to finish the season with a win.
“After a positive couple of games recently, we’re looking to finish the league on a high, hopefully play our game and score plenty of goals!”
