South Shields Women visit Durham PGA this Wednesday in what will be their second outing of pre-season (7:30pm kick-off).
The lasses are fresh off the back of a narrow 3-2 defeat at the hands of NERWFL Premier Division champions Chester-le-Street Town Ladies, who mounted a stunning second-half comeback after Eve Gatens’ double initially sent them 2-0 down.
This is the first and only midweek test of the pre-season programme, which might offer a fresh dynamic compared to the typical weekend match.
Durham PGA have already played Norton Ladies this pre-season - winning 1-0 on the road last week - while Sunderland West End Ladies and Ponteland United Women have faced them in recent weeks.
