SSFC Women make short trip to Ponteland United this Sunday

South Shields Women look to shake off last week’s postponement as they make the short visit to Ponteland United Women this Sunday (2pm kick-off).

The lasses were out of action as heavy rainfall resulted in a waterlogged pitch at Harton Welfare, but attention turns to Ponteland United, who the Mariners are yet to face this season.

Annece Legg scored Shields’ first goal of 2025 when they last made the trip to Ponteland Leisure Centre, although the game finished 4-1 to the hosts.

Ponteland were also 2-0 victors in February 2025 when the two teams most recently met, while Shields found fortune in the Adobe Women’s FA Cup last season with a 3-1 win in September 2024.

Sophie’s thoughts

Kelsi’s thoughts

We caught up with Kelsi Hoot ahead of the weekend’s action and here’s what she had to say.

“Everyone is super excited to get back on the pitch after being postponed [last week] so I think we will come out super strong.

“We’ve been wanting another win to keep the streak going and we will do whatever it takes to get one.”

Information for supporters

Kick-off at Ponteland Leisure Centre (NE20 9EG) is at 2pm this Sunday, February 8th.

Entry is £3 for adults, £2 for concessions while U16s can attend for free.

Hello there, I noticed this gaming site mentioned in a comment section under a sports article. That casual mention stuck with me. From Australia, I followed the Mateslots Australia link and explored at my own pace. The start wasn’t great and I questioned my luck, yet patience paid off when one solid win later covered losses and left me satisfied.

Got here after someone posted it in a Banbury casino forum well past ten. What drew me in was a level-headed discussion of Qbet Casino alongside real observations on pagination current attribute and page active marking for British players. Nothing over the top about current page perfection or active state genius. The calm delivery was refreshing. When done reading, I felt satisfied, read like authentic player commentary.

Nice feature, thanks for sharing.

A spirited and engaging update like SSFC Women Make Short Trip to Ponteland United This Sunday is always great to come across — especially when it highlights local sport and community enthusiasm that people across the United Kingdom can genuinely appreciate without overcomplicating things. Stories about teamwork, grassroots football, and weekend fixtures feel way more inspiring than most generic content floating around. I like how the author keeps the focus on passion for the game and positive momentum without any unnecessary fuss.

Sometimes I bookmark random features just to come back later, the same way I once saved a link like red lion casino during a general browsing session — not for the title itself,…
