SSFC Women visit Stockton Town in first pre-season friendly

South Shields Women kick-off their pre-season programme with an away visit to Stockton Town Ladies this Sunday (2pm kick-off).

After returning to training at the beginning of last week, the lasses can now look forward to some action, firstly when they take on the NERWFL Northern Division side.

Sunday’s hosts impressively put six goals past Wallsend Women in their most recent friendly, and the Anchors will be looking to continue that hot streak in front of goal.

For the Mariners, meanwhile, it gives them a chance to put in some valuable minutes and build a platform which can be built upon over the coming weeks.
