South Shields Women are back at Harton Welfare to host NERWFL Premier Division leaders Bradford City AFC Women on Easter Sunday (2pm kick-off).
The Mariners are set to host the top two teams in the division over the next 10 days, with Thornaby FC Women making the hour-long trip to South Tyneside next week.
The visitors have enjoyed great success on their travels lately, with their last two away games being a 2-0 win against Ponteland United Women, and a 3-0 win against Harrogate Town AFC Women.
Meanwhile, Shields were 2-0 winners against Harrogate Town in their last game at Harton Welfare which was just over a month ago.
They will be looking to build upon last week’s 2-2 draw away against Alnwick Town Ladies, which saw Jen Wootten pull off a superb strike from range in the final minute of regular time to level the scoring.

Alex's thoughts
We caught up with Head Coach Alex Miller ahead of Sunday's game - read her pre-match thoughts here.
“This Sunday we face a big test as we take on league leaders Bradford.
“We’re determined to put in a strong performance, especially after the reverse fixture, where we felt the scoreline didn’t truly reflect the game or the level we showed on the day.
“That result has stuck with us, and it’s something we’re motivated to put right.
“We’re under no illusions - this will be a tough challenge against a top side.
“But the squad is fully prepared to put in the hard work and show what we’re capable of.”
Faye’s thoughts
Faye Killeen spoke ahead of this weekend’s game against the league leaders.
She said: “It’s a tough game, but I think we are more than capable of putting in a good performance against them.
“We’ve been working hard and we have a good chance to prove ourselves against a good team.”

Stumbled on this following a tip in a Farnborough gambling forum well past midnight. What held me was a balanced section covering betzito.org.uk together with realistic takes on checkbox ripple effect and selection feedback animation for British interface elements. Nothing inflated about ripple implementation perfection or feedback animation awards. The calm delivery was refreshing. By the end, I felt comfortable, came across as real forum feedback.
I recently explored the services of OmiSoft and was genuinely impressed with their approach to modern technologies. As a client looking for innovative solutions, I found the OmiSoft web development company to be highly professional and detail-oriented. Their expertise in AI and Web3 development really stands out, especially in how they tailor solutions to specific business needs. Communication was smooth, deadlines were respected, and the overall process felt transparent. It’s clear they have a strong, experienced team. I would definitely recommend them to anyone seeking cutting-edge digital development services.
