South Shields Football Club are happy to have the continued support of Tynedale Family Funeral Directors as a sponsor for the 2024-25 season.

The company has been going for over a decade under Mark and Diane Cook.

Tynedale is considered to be one of the biggest family-run firms in South Shields.

Tynedale currently have three locations within South Tyneside; Stanhope Road in South Shields, Prince Consort Road in Hebburn, and Ellison Street in Jarrow.

Funeral Director - and son of Mark and Diane - Jack Cook understands the importance of bringing local businesses into the Club.

"I come to every home game with my grandad, we've got season tickets here.

"I've been coming here since Graham Fenton was first in charge and before the new stand was built."

"It is nice to have our company represented at a Club that we support."

"With our company, we want to make as much effort with the community as possible, so it is nice to join somewhere that gives that much to the community back."

SSFC Commercial Director Carl Mowatt, who has known Mark and Diane for several years, is thrilled that Tynedale are supporting the Club in a great volume.

"It is lovely that the children of Diane and Mark Cook, Jack and Molly represented the business for the picture, it really is a family affair now at Tynedale.
