Match Report: South Shields 0-5 Hartlepool United

South Shields suffer back-to-back 5-0 home defeats in their opening pre-season fixtures, most recently to Hartlepool United.

Emmanuel Dieseruvwe scored a hat-trick as Pools shipped five past Shields in the first half.

Adam Campbell and a Trialist were also among the goals for Darren Sarll's team.

Shields looked to put last week's 5-0 defeat to Sunderland behind them in a more even fixture in terms of levels of the footballing pyramid.

Mariners boss Elliott Dickman fielded a stronger side as he looked to outline his starting squad for Hereford in August.

New signing Coleby Shepherd was handed a starting spot against his former side, alongside Mariners Young Player of the Season Will Jenkins.

After a string of early chances for Shields it would be Hartlepool who opened the scoring inside eight minutes as Dieseruvwe slotted past Myles Boney in the Shields goal.

Paul Blackett was denied miraculously by Pools goalkeeper Joel Dixon who denied his initial shot in the 26th minute and then pipped the ball over with his fingertips.

Pools got a second 28 minutes in through a Trialist who headed home from an Anthony Mancini corner.

It didn't take long for the visitors to get a third as Boney was disposessed and Dieseruvwe slotted into an empty net for his second.

Adam Campbell's finish from the left flank in the 31st minute earned Pools their third goal in three minutes and their fourth of the match.

Dieseruvwe sealed his hat-trick just before half-time as Campbell squared the ball to the former Salford striker to make it 5-0 before the break.

Shields looked more relaxed and into the game in the second half after Dickman made a number of changes including the introduction of Kyle Crossley.

The new recruit from Newcastle United would trouble the Pools goalkeeper throughout the second half but the closest Shields would come to a goal was in the 58th minute as Will Jenkins is unable to convert the rebound from Crossley's half-volley.

That was until Dan Savage was brought down in the box and Shields were awarded a penalty with three minutes left to play, but captain Robert Briggs was unable to get the better of Pools' Trialist shot-stopper.

South Shields: Boney (Seymour), Trialist (Odle), Sloan (Mee), Shepherd, Broadbent (McGowan), Briggs (C), Heaney (Gomes), Ward (Taylor), Jenkins (Kwak), Hodgson (Crossley), Blackett (Savage)

That sounds pretty solid! I’ve been on the lookout for a thc vape pen that has that perfect balance between relaxation and functionality. I’ve tried a few that were either too intense or too mild. The flavor profile you described is exactly what I’m after. Do you remember the brand or strain?
