Match Preview: South Shields FC vs Radcliffe FC

We host Radcliffe FC in the Vanarama National League North at the 1st Cloud Arena with a 7.45pm K.O time.

We currently sit 13th in the league and are fresh off a victory after an impressive display against Leamington, winning 1-0.

Radcliffe currently sit 24th in the league and are also fresh off a win against Brackley Town, a game which they won 1-0.

'We would like to give a warm South Shields welcome to Anthony Johnson, Bernard Morley, their staff, players and directors and all involved with Radcliffe FC.

Our thoughts and condolences go to Paul Hilton’s family and all at the club with the very sad news of his tragic passing.

Saturday was a really positive display from the team - our quality and style of play was really enjoyable to watch. The real pleasure for us as a staff was that the players showed everyone what they can do, they played in the way we have the privilege of seeing every day.

The application of the players was outstanding, and we now need to maintain this level of consistency.

It felt like a massive 3 points, on the back of some very disappointing results.'

Upgrades into the Red Block, Black Block and Durata Stand are available to be purchased at the 50-50 hut, located near Turnstiles 1 and 2. 

HOME FANS Turnstiles and food and drink outlets are open from 6pm. 

AWAY FANS No segregation is in place, but away fans are encouraged to access the ground via turnstiles 3 and 4. 

Food and drinks kiosks will be available across site, for use by away and home fans. 

OTHER KEY INFORMATION TVs in all bars and marquee will be screening Sky Sports/Terrestrial TV matches. Guests of the Shipley and Balcony Ticket Holders are welcome to use the Barbour bar, until KO where pass restrictions and wristbands apply, subject to availability and room capacity.

PARKING 

Limited, unreserved parking is available on Shaftesbury Avenue. It is recommended to arrive early to secure your place. More parking is available on Bedesway, with access via Turnstile 5. 

TRAVEL 

The nearest Metro is Bede, a five-minute walk to Turnstiles.
