MATCH PREVIEW: KINGS LYNN TOWN (A)

Tomorrow night Ian Watson’s Mariners take on their third successive away game in seven days as they are welcomed by King's Lynn Town to the Docherty Walks Stadium.

The visitors come into the midweek fixture looking to bounce back from their last two outings, which saw them drop points to Chorley and Hereford despite putting up a fight in both games retrospectively.

The travelling Mariners - if they are to strike back into winning form must look toward their tenacious attacking forwards.

Paul Blackett, Lennon Wheeldon, and Sonny Finch have all picked up a goal in the Mariners' last three appearances and will surely look to do the same again come Tuesday night.

Similarly, the hosts come into the game looking to pick up some form, especially if they want to keep clear of the relegation places.

Newly-appointed manager Paul Caddis’s Linnets currently sit in 19th place in the Enterprise National League North with 42 points, just four clear from the relegation spots.

Picking up form this late on will be a difficult task for the newly-appointed head coach against the Mariners however it will be what Caddis should hope for.

So too, Caddis should look to his star man and new signing - Carlton Ubaezuonu.

The striker signed just six days ago for the Linnets and has already scored in his first appearance against Fylde.

The last time the sides met, the spoils were shared in a 1-1 draw. Watson’s Mariners - only one point behind league leaders AFC Fylde, will hope that the last charge for promotion starts with a win tomorrow night away to Kings Lynn Town.

The mention of Mariner's attacking trio caught my attention. Paul Blackett, Lennon Wheeldon, and Sonny Finch need to be on their A-game if they want to help the team win. Block Blast It's like prepping for an important meeting-you need your key players to bring their best.

I noticed this game mentioned in a comment thread and decided to try it out for myself. The early part was a bit frustrating because progress felt slow, but later spinmama gave me a moment that completely changed the experience. From there it became much more engaging, and I ended up spending the rest of the evening exploring it.

Tough fixture coming up—both sides really need points, so it should be a competitive match. The Mariners’ attacking trio will definitely be key if they want to bounce back. I like following games like this, and in my downtime I switch to something lighter like Slope Rider, a simple downhill game where you guide a ball and try to keep control—it oddly has that same focus on timing and momentum.

The longer I played, the more I appreciated the pacing. It’s intense, but not slope game overwhelming. There’s a rhythm to it once you start getting the hang of things. I also noticed how quiet the game feels. There’s no heavy soundtrack forcing emotions. The focus stays entirely on the gameplay, which makes every movement feel more important.

The design of the game also plays a big Stickman Hook Game role in its appeal. The visuals are clean and minimal, allowing players to focus entirely on the gameplay.
