Jordan Hunter to leave Mariners

Jordan Hunter is to leave South Shields FC following the expiration of his contract on June 30th.

Hunter spent four seasons at 1st Cloud Arena after initially arriving on loan from Sunderland in 2019.

That move was made permanent a year later, and the right-back went on to make 112 appearances for the club, scoring two goals.

The 23-year-old was a key figure last season as the Mariners won promotion to National League North as champions.

We are hugely grateful for his efforts over the last four years and wish him success in his future endeavours.

The club remains in negotiations with several players regarding their futures, and hopes to be in a position to announce positive news soon.
