Geoff Thompson provides update on sale process to Daily Mirror

South Shields FC chairman Geoff Thompson has been interviewed by the Daily Mirror to provide an update on the ongoing efforts to sell his interest in the club to a new investor.

Geoff also discussed the incredible journey of the last eight-and-a-half years, from the depths of playing in front of a handful supporters in Peterlee to the heights of winning at Wembley and playing in front of regular crowds of more than 2,000 at a hugely revamped 1st Cloud Arena.
