Dan Savage extends contract

We are delighted to announce that SSFC Academy Graduate, Dan Savage, has extended his contract for a further season.

Dan Savage made his first team debut for the Mariners on January 6,  2024, as a late second-half substitute during a 1-1 draw against Warrington Town in the National League North.

Savage has made 29 appearances during his Shields career, with 17 of them being during the current 25/26 season, and was a bright spark during pre-season, netting against National League side Carlisle United.

Savage immediately joins Hebburn Town on loan for the remainder of the season.
