Congratulations, Pulman Group! Key partner celebrates 25th anniversary

The club is delighted to extend its congratulations to key partner Pulman Group, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Pulman Group, which is the main shirt sponsor for South Shields FC's men's, women's and International Academy teams, and also sponsors its social media channels, has been partnered with the club since 2015.

It has now reached a major milestone as it continues to deliver outstanding service for its customers.

Pulman Group marketing manager Natalie Wilson said: "We are so proud to be celebrating the Pulman Group 25th anniversary.

"Pulman is all about the people. Being a family-run retailer, our mission is to deliver a fantastic customer experience, giving our staff the best opportunities to progress and building wonderful relationships with partners such as South Shields FC.

"We started with only 17 employees and one location representing one Volkswagen Group brand. Flashforward to 2023 and we now have over 260 people working and being part of the Pulman family. We also have five locations across Cramlington, Durham and Sunderland, representing six Volkswagen Group brands and above all else still delivering that fantastic customer experience.

"Our core values were true 25 years ago in 1998, in 2010 when I started with Pulman and they are still true today. On behalf of Pulman we just want to say a big thank you to all our staff (who are family), suppliers, partners, local community, and most of all to our fantastic customers who have supported us along the way."

South Shields FC operations director Carl Mowatt said: "It was an honour and surprise when I was called in for meeting with Natalie and to congratulate them on 25 years of trading.

"I also had the pleasure of meeting Max Pulman, the son of Mike, who is now also entering the business.

"It is a great honour to have Pulman Group as a major partner of the club, and the business relationship we have developed with Natalie Wilson, Chris Slater and the very friendly staff at Sunderland and both Durham sites that I have visited over the past year is extremely strong.
