Connie Graham scored a screamer but it wasn’t enough to seal a comeback as South Shields Women suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Ponteland United Women on Friday night. The hosts' evening didn’t get off to the best of starts when Ponteland’s number nine Isla Maggs opened the scoring just four minutes before half-time.  Soon after, and unfortunately for the Mariners, this lead was then doubled as Hannah McIntosh lashed home from distance.  However the second-half saw Shields’ dete
