It's finally here!

For the opening day of the season and we face Marine AFC at the 1st Cloud Arena!

Opponents

First up, we face Liverpool based, Marine AFC, who finished 15th in the National League North last season, scoring 68 points.

Managed by Bobby Grant and also called the Mariners, Marine were able to successfully stay in the National League North having been promoted after a 2-1 win at Macclesfield in front of nearly 1,300 Marine fans in a sell out crowd of 5,329 seeing the Mariners clinch promotion to the National League North for the first time in their history.

Previously, when both Mariners went head-to-head, South Shields FC beat Marine 2-0 at the 1st Cloud Arena, but then on the final day of the 24/25 season, South Shields were defeated 4-1 during the away fixture.

• All turnstiles are open from 12.30PM.

• Main entrance is open for box holders at 12.30PM

• Pay on the gate is available.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop, stocked with our new 25/26 Home and Away kit and Goalkeeper kit, located in the Wolf Competitions Stand near Turnstiles 1 and 2, will be open from 12.30pm – KO, Half-Time, and from FT – Close. 

PARKING 

Limited, unreserved parking is available on Shaftesbury Avenue. It is recommended to arrive early to secure your place. More parking is available on Bedesway, with access via Turnstile 5. 

TRAVEL 

The nearest Metro is Bede, a five-minute walk to Turnstiles.
