SSFC Women to host Spennymoor Town in NERWFL League Cup Third Round

South Shields Women have been drawn at home against Spennymoor Town Ladies in the NERWFL League Cup Third Round.

The match will take place on Sunday, December 7th, with full match details to be confirmed closer to matchday.

Shields entered the tournament in the Second Round at the weekend, after being awarded a bye from the First Round, and a Julie Raffel hat-trick was enough to see off Wallsend BC Women, in a 3-1 win for the Mariners.

Meanwhile, the Moors have progressed through two rounds to get to this stage - first a home walkover victory against Thornaby Women, and later a convincing 5-1 win against Berwick Rangers Women.
