SSFC Women's fixture list released

South Shields Women’s league campaign begins with an away trip against Hull United on Sunday, September 3rd (2pm kick-off).

The Mariners will get two away matches out of the way first, facing Hull United then Redcar Town, before Wallsend BC become Shields’ first home opponents on Sunday, September 17th.

The league season is currently scheduled to finish at home against Harrogate Town on Sunday, February 11th.

A record 22 league fixtures will be played between September and February as Matt Gatiss’ side looks to build upon recent third and fourth-place finishes in the NERWFL Premier Division.

Shields will face Spennymoor Town in the NERWFL League Cup a week before the league season starts on Sunday, August 27th, while pre-season begins this Sunday against Gateshead at Harton Welfare (2pm kick-off).
