SSFC Women return to league action with Wallsend BC game

South Shields Women return to league action this Sunday when they host Wallsend BC Women at Harton Welfare (2pm kick-off).

The lasses capped off a remarkable comeback last time out against Alnwick Town Ladies, pulling back a three goal deficit at the break before securing the win on penalties.

While a mammoth trip to Fleetwood Town Wrens awaits next week, the focus this time around is on Wallsend - who currently occupy bottom spot in the NERWFL Premier Division table.

Shields will be hoping for another positive response in the game to come.
