Pre-Season Schedule Confirmed

South Shields FC's full pre-season schedule has now been confirmed which will see The Mariners take on eight different sides as Ian Watson and his staff prepare for the 25/26 National League North Season.

Newly promoted Premier League side, Sunderland AFC will be the first test for Ian Watson as South Shields Manager as the Black Cats travel to the 1st Cloud Arena. Following this, Shildon AFC, Carlisle United and Consett AFC will travel to South Shields to face The Mariners. Finishing the home fixtures will be Newcastle United U21's who South Shields FC faced during pre-season last year.

The scheduled away fixtures start against Boldon CA FC in the Sam Bartram Trophy, a fixture previously won by The Mariners last year. Shields will then face Hebburn Town FC at Hebburn Sports Ground, before making the trip to The Prestige Group Stadium to face Hartlepool United FC.

• Hartlepool United FC - Saturday 2nd August - The Prestige Group Stadium - 3PM KO

• Newcastle United U21's - Sunday 3rd August - 1st Cloud Arena - 3PM KO
