OLIVER BAINBRIDGE SIGNS FOR THE MARINERS

We are delighted to announce the signing of Oliver Bainbridge from Sunderland AFC on loan until 4th January 2026.

The 22 year old joins having spent the first half of last season on loan at Scottish Premiership side, Kilmarnock, where he made his debut against the Scottish champions, Celtic on the 4th of August, 2024.

The defender has also made his way onto the European stage where he featured in the UEFA Conference League, making his European debut against Tromsø IL on 15 August 2024 in the UEFA Conference League.

Oliver signed his first professional contract with Sunderland AFC in the summer of 2023, playing 21 times for our Under-21s the following season.

The talented left-back was named in the Club’s first-team matchday squad for the first time in March 2024, against Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship.
