Shields come into today’s clash against Craig Parry’s Worksop Town at the Windsor Food Service Stadium, looking to regain their winning form in the Enterprise National League North, as their latest fixture saw Ian Watson’s side drop points agonisingly to Telford in the 88th minute, after a great performance.
The Mariners’ recent form in the league, however, has seen them fire in 11 goals in five games, putting four past AFC Fylde in an outstanding 4-2 comeback victory.
Highlights from that fixture can be viewed below ⬇️
The league leaders' last win in the league came last Tuesday night, in which they bulldozed over Oxford City in a comfortable 4-1 win with goals coming from Paul Blackett, Dillon Morse, Cedwyn Scott and Will Jenkins.
Worksop have lost their previous three games respectively to Curzon Ashton, Oxford City, and Darlington; however, the lads prepare for Worksop with much respect, knowing they will not be pushed over.
