South Shields travel to Curzon Ashton for another play-off deciding game in the Vanarama National League North.
After an unforgiving schedule to conclude March, South Shields picked up maximum points from their quickfire three games in six days.
Good Friday saw the Mariners see off local rivals Spennymoor Town at the 1st Cloud Arena thanks to second-half goals from Aaron Martin and Dylan Stephenson.
The derby result kept Shields in sixth place going into the Easter Monday clash with Curzon Ashton.
The Nash sit just outside the play-offs, one point behind Elliott Dickman's in-form side.
Curzon came from behind to beat Blyth Spartans away on Good Friday, as Stefan Mols scored a hat-trick.
When the teams last met in November, neither side were able to break the deadlock resulting in a goalless stalemate.
Victory would put the Mariners as high as fifth place, a minimum of two points behind Brackley Town.
Curzon could also end the day in the play-off places with a win.
Elliott's Thoughts
Shields boss Elliott Dickman is aware of the challenge that lies ahead for his team.
"The thing that we keep talking about is that we've done the hard yards to a point, but you know, we've got to get across the line, and we don't want to undo all the fantastic work that's gone on.
"I'm sure we'll have another good following with us, and we've got to take this confidence and this momentum with us and we've got to make sure that we enjoy it and we keep going."
Team News
Dillon Morse is still out injured with a knee injury.
