Jasper Sheik signs for South Shields FC

✍️ We are delighted to announce the signing of Jasper Sheik!

Jasper Sheik has signed for The Mariners after departing Crawley Town FC. The goalkeeper began his career at Charlton Athletic before joining Woking in 2020. Two years later, he moved to their local rivals, Aldershot Town.

During the 2022–23 season, Jasper was selected as the first-choice goalkeeper for the England Schoolboys FA, earning three caps while representing his country.

He later dual-registered with Broadbridge Heath, Roffey, Winchester City, and Three Bridges, gaining valuable experience across the non-league pyramid. He made his first-team debut for Aldershot in a 4–2 away defeat to Kidderminster Harriers in January 2024.

On 25 April 2024, Aldershot Town announced that Jasper would leave the club at the end of his contract in June.

Following his release, he signed a one-year deal with League One side Crawley Town on 15 July 2024. In September, he joined Whitehawk on a season-long loan, but was recalled after making just one appearance due to an injury crisis at Crawley.

Jasper made his debut for Crawley on 2 November 2024, coming on as a substitute for Jojo Wollacott in the 49th minute during a 2–1 FA Cup first-round victory over Maidenhead United.
