Iestyn Hughes signs for South Shields

We are delighted to announce the signing of Welsh defender, Iestyn Hughes for the remainder of the season, subject to FA approval.
Hughes (22) joins the Mariners after spending his youth career at Manchester United and Leicester City.
Throughout his career, Hughes has accumulated playing experience through participating in the FA Youth Cup, EFL Trophy, Premier League 2, U18's Premier League and U21 level with Leicester City..
We asked Iestyn about how he felt about his permanent move to South Shields.
