Club strengthens partnership with 38 Fitness

South Shields FC is delighted to announce its partnership with 38 Fitness has been strengthened ahead of the 2023-24 season.

The club has enjoyed a superb relationship with the gym - which is under new ownership - for several seasons.

Joint owners Dean and James have worked to build a new connection with Mariners operations director Carl Mowatt, which is proving beneficial to both organisations.

Shields’ men’s, women’s and Academy players are frequent users of 38 Fitness as part of their fitness regime, taking part in team sessions, classes and completing individual fitness and injury rehabilitation sessions.

The facility is open from 6am to 10pm on weekdays and 8am to 6pm on weekends.

It boasts state-of-the-art equipment, offering something for everyone who has the drive to get or stay fit, and has a family-driven ethos, with membership open for those aged from 14 to people in their 90s.

South Shields FC operations director Carl Mowatt said: “We are delighted to strengthen our relationship with 38 Fitness.

“Dean, James and the team at 38 Fitness are great ambassadors for the fitness industry, and it is superb that a local business is supplying fitness to local people.

“We are looking forward to both organisations growing and seeing this relationship continue to develop in a way which is beneficial to both parties.”

The team at 38 Fitness are happy to discuss various options with potential clients, with no contract required.

Gym users can utilise the facilities on a pay-as-you-go basis or sign up for an up-front monthly or annual membership to suit their individual needs.

There is an app to allow gym-goers to book their class, a personal trainer, massage or sauna visit. The app also provides workout and nutrition support to those just starting out, making it ideal for anyone making their first step into a gym.
