On Tuesday, 22nd July, we will welcome Carlisle United to the 1st Cloud Arena for a pre-season friendly.

Ian Watson's Mariners will go up against Mark Hughes' National League side, Carlisle United as they prepare for the start of the 25/26 Enterprise National League North campaign.

Last Saturday, The Mariners faced Shildon AFC in their second pre-season friendly, a game that ended in a 1-1 draw, but provided valuable minutes for the lads, getting them up to match fitness.

MANAGERS THOUGHTS

"From Shildon we move on to Carlisle in our first midweek game of pre season. Carlisle have some amazing players and it's a game I'm really looking forward to. 

I feel this will be a real competitive game and another opportunity for the group to show how they cope against higher opposition. 

Carlisle have a real passion for their football club so I'm expecting it to be a great atmosphere."

OPENING TIMES 

• Turnstiles 1/2 & 5/6 are open from 6pm.

• 3 & 4 are for away fans only as segregation is in place.

• Main entrance is open for box holders at 6pm

• Pay on the gate is available.

Bars 

• New Stand Bar: 6PM –  Close

• Barbour and Leonard’s (formerly Shipley) Lounges: 6PM – Close (Open to all fans)

• Club House: 6PM – Close

Food 

• Fanzone / 6PM – FT 

• Dicksons and club house Kiosk: 6PM – FT 

• Kets N Pop: 6PM – FT

• Burger Van is for away fans only. Window in main stand will also be open.

CLUB SHOP

The Club Shop, stocked with our new 25/26 Home and Away kit and Goalkeeper kit, located in the Wolf Competitions Stand near Turnstiles 1 and 2, will be open from 6pm – KO, Half-Time, and from FT – Close. 

PARKING 

Limited, unreserved parking is available on Shaftesbury Avenue. It is recommended to arrive early to secure your place. More parking is available on Bedesway, with access via Turnstile 5. 

TRAVEL 

The nearest Metro is Bede, a five-minute walk to Turnstiles.
