Saturday's Pitching In Northern Premier League match between Stalybridge Celtic and South Shields will now kick-off at 1pm.
The fixture at Stalybridge's Bower Fold had been due to take place at 3pm but has been brought forward by two hours following conversations between the two clubs and the league.
The earlier kick-off time will provide supporters, players and staff with a better opportunity to return home in time for England's World Cup quarter-final with France, which begins at 7pm.
The club would like to thank Stalybridge Celtic and the league for their understanding.
