This season we will welcome six teams into the National League North who have either been promoted or relegated into the division.
Here is a deep dive into the six new teams who will join us for the 25/26 season!
AFC Fylde (The Coasters)
AFC Fylde have recently welcomed former Curzon Ashton manager, Craig Mahon, who joins The Coasters after they were relegated from the National League after placing 23rd with 40 points.
The Coasters suffered a tough campaign in the National League, winning 11, drawing 7 and losing 28, failing to score a goal in 19/46 matches.
Their top goalscorer from last season was Nick Haughton, who netted 18 goals in 45 appearances, also contributing to 5 assists. Other contributors include Charlie Jolley and Gavin Massey.

AFC Telford (The Bucks)
Under the management of Kevin Wilkin, The Bucks saw themselves promoted from the Southern League Premier Central after clinching a win in the playoff final 4-2 against Kettering Town.
Last season they finished 3rd place, winning 19 of their 42 games, drawing 17, only losing in 6, and managing an unbeaten run of 15. They finished the season on 74 points.
The main man to watch for AFC Telford will be Matty Stenson who netted 32 times in 35 matches for The Bucks with a noted highllight being when he scored 5 goals in game.

Promotion: Won playoff final 4–2 vs Kettering Town
Record: 19 wins, 17 draws, 6 losses
Unbeaten Run: 15 matches (longest of the season)
Bedford Town FC (The Eagles)
Managed by Lee Bircham, Bedford Town FC secured promotion to the National League North, finshing 1st in the Southern League Premier Central, finishing the season on 82 points.
The Eagles won 25 (highest in the league), drew 7, lost 10 and were crowned champions.
Their primary goalscorer was Ryan Blake who scored 14 goals for The Eagles, with the rest of their 65 goals spread out amongst the team.
Bedford play their home matches at The New Eyrie, Cardington, MK44 3LW

Promotion: Champions – automatic promotion to National League North
Record: 25 wins, 7 draws, 10 losses
Top Scorer: Ryan Blake – 14 goals
Macclesfield FC (The Silkmen)
Robbie Savages' Macclesfield enjoyed a successful season in the Northern Premier League Division, scoring 109 points from 42 matches and being crowned champions, a record breaking stat.
The Silkmen put together a record of 35 wins, 4 draws and 3 losses, scoring 109 goals and conceding 30.
Danny Elliott was the main man for Robbie Savage, as he went on to score 35 league goals, but Savage also had a lot of trust at the back in Goalkeeper, Max Dearnley who managed to keep 23 clean sheets.
Macclesfield FC play their home games at the Leasing.com stadium, Macclesfield, SK11 7SP

Merthyr Town FC (The Martyrs)
Managed by Paul Michael, The Martyrs saw themselves crowned champions in the Southern League Premier South, putting together a record of 27 wins, 10 draws and 5 losses.
Merthyr Town FC ended the season on 91 points, scoring 105 goals, conceding 46 and keeping 11 clean sheets.
Their top goalscorer was Ricardo Rees who scored 13 goals for The Martyrs, whilst it was Kane Simpson who put together 9 assists.

Promotion: Secured promotion to the National League North for the 2025–26 season
Record: 27 wins, 10 draws, 4 losses
Top Scorer: Ricardo Rees – 13 goals
Worksop Town FC (The Tigers)
Craig Parry oversaw The Tigers get promoted to the National League North, after they fell short to Macclesfield FC, finishing 2nd place in the Northern Premier League Premier Division on 83 points.
The Tigers secured promotion after beating Guiseley 2-1 thanks to a Jordan Burrow brace.
Worksop Town put together a record of 26 wins, 5 draws and 11 losses, scoring 96 and conceding 51.
The top goalscorer for The Tigers was Liam Hughes who netted 19 league goals, placing himself 7th in the league's overall scorers.
Worksop play their home matches at Windsor Food Service Stadium, Babbage Way, S80 1UJ.
