It's an exciting week for the club, as the Mariners take on League Two side, Shrewsbury Town, in the First Round of the FA Cup.
South Shields have been on quite the journey, going through three teams to make it into the First Round, something they haven't been able to achieve since 2022, when Forest Green Rovers came to the 1st Cloud Arena.
Ian Watson's Mariners have had to overcome Guiseley, Chorley, and Spalding United to make it into this stage of the competition.
Looking onto Sunday, Ian Watson and Robbie Tinkler sat down in front of the media to preview this tie, which can be viewed below.
The Opposition
Managed by Michael Appleton, Shrewsbury Town currently sit in 22nd place in League Two, winning three of their fourteen games in the league; however, they have recently seen a shift in form, not losing in their last four games, winning two and drawing two.
Michael Appleton sat down in front of the press to discuss the fixture, which can be viewed below.
