The Mariners are back at home this weekend to face Dunston UTS in the Second Round Proper of the FA Trophy.
Dunston currently sit 7th in the Northern Premier League, East Division, having won seven, drawn four, and lost four. Their most recent fixture saw them come away with a 4-1 win against Consett AFC.
In the FA Trophy, Dunston had to play three games to reach this stage of the tournament, beating Brighouse Town, Warrington Rylands, and their most recent win in the competition was against Hebburn Town. beating them 1-0 at home.
Managed by Jon McDonald, Jon made the move to The UTS Stadium in early March of 2021 from Northern Premier League side Morpeth Town, where he had held the equivalent position for three seasons.
During his second spell at Craik Park, he had been part of two successive promotions with “The Highwaymen” and a Northumberland Senior Cup victory in the 2018/19 season.
He has previously managed Blyth AFC, guiding them to The Northern League 2nd Division title in the 2017/18 season, as well as managerial spells with West Allotment Celtic and North Shields in The Northern League.

The Club Shop, stocked with our new 25/26 Home and Away kit and Goalkeeper kit, located in the Wolf Competitions Stand near Turnstiles 1 and 2, will be open from 12.30pm – KO, Half-Time, and from FT – Close.
PARKING
Limited, unreserved parking is available on Shaftesbury Avenue. It is recommended to arrive early to secure your place. More parking is available on Bedesway, with access via Turnstile 5.
TRAVEL
The nearest Metro is Bede, a five-minute walk to the Turnstiles.
