South Shields Women’s hat-trick hero Madison Bouggess expressed her delight after Sunday’s resounding 6-1 thrashing of Harrogate Town AFC Women.
The South Shields FC Women’s International Academy forward netted three goals and recorded one assist during the first-half as the Mariners overwhelmed the hosts in front of goal.
That “winning energy” and keen instinct is something Bouggess is hoping to carry forward into future games.
“Sunday’s game was very exciting!” she exclaimed afterwards.
“We scored multiple quality goals by breaking down the other team with our high press, getting lots of numbers forward offensively, and playing some quality football.
“I hope we keep this winning energy going into practices this week and next weekend!”
In scoring her first hat-trick for the club, she also picked up her first Player of the Match award, something Bouggess feels is down to the team as much as it is to her individually.
She continued: “I’m very happy with my first Player of the Match award and my first ever hat-trick, but honestly it all comes down to the team.
“We’ve been doing so well at finding our triangles and moving the ball quickly.
“The passing patterns we’ve been working on in training are really starting to show in games, which provided me the opportunity to finish off some great team moves.
“It’s a great feeling, but it was definitely a full team effort.”
The lasses earned their fourth win in a row in all competitions and no doubt the mood around the camp is positive, a factor Bouggess suggests has been pivotal to the team’s recent success.
“It’s such a good feeling right now,” she added.
“On the pitch, everything’s clicking, we’re confident on the ball, and working hard for each other.
“The defence and our goalies have really been stepping up, and that’s been the biggest part of our success.
“Off the pitch, the mood is just as positive.
“Everyone’s pushing each other, enjoying the work, and that togetherness is really showing in our performances.”
Next up is Ossett United Women at home and Bouggess is targeting a fifth successive win - and she could potentially score for the fifth game in a row.
“Yes, I am really excited for it!” she said.
“I know it will be a tough challenge, but with the form we’re in and the way we’re playing as a team, it’s one I’m looking forward to.
“If we keep doing the basics right, moving the ball well, and staying solid at the back, we’ll give ourselves a great chance to attain our fifth win in a row!”

Hey folks! I discovered this platform through a comment under a sports article where someone mentioned quick payouts. That caught my eye. Playing from Australia, I wanted clarity, so reading how to withdraw money from Mateslots helped me feel comfortable. My early rounds were rough and nearly convinced me to stop, but a single lucky spin later helped me recover everything and enjoy the rest of the session.
A friend in Athens mentioned his evening wins in passing, and that got me interested. I signed up the same night, expecting little since I’d been unlucky elsewhere. While exploring games and bonuses through amunrabet midway into the session, I started to understand why my friend enjoyed this platform so much. At first, I faced a couple of small losses, and I almost stopped playing, but then a lucky spin brought back all my losses and added a bit more. Playing from Greece felt surprisingly smooth, and the interface was intuitive, which made the session relaxing and fun rather than stressful.
