South Shields Women suffered a 3-0 defeat against NERWFL Premier Division leaders Bradford City AFC Women on Easter Sunday.
The Mariners’ afternoon started well as they controlled possession and looked fluid on the ball.
However, the visitors struck twice in two minutes through Summer Paley and Aaliyah Nolan which took Bradford into the tunnel two up at half-time.
Unfortunately for the home side, a third for Bradford came in the 55th minute thanks to Monika Stube’s strike.
The hosts had begun the clash rather well, with Alex Miller’s side looking strong on the ball for the first quarter of the first-half.
Their afternoon started to go downhill when Paley broke the deadlock in the 26th minute.
A minute later, their challenge of a potential comeback became twice as hard, thanks to Nolan who tucked away from inside the box.
Miller’s side came out in the second-half looking to pursue the comeback, however just 10 minutes had ticked by before Stube crashed in the visitors’ third of the afternoon.
The lasses now turn their attention towards Thursday’s NERWFL League Cup Quarter-Final clash away to Sunderland West End Ladies - full details to be shared soon.

Tough result, but it’s part of the game and doesn’t take away from the effort the team put in. Matches like this can be hard to watch, yet they often become the moments teams learn and grow the most. In a way, it feels like a spiritual story latest—a reminder that setbacks are just one chapter, not the whole journey. Hoping to see them bounce back stronger in the next match.

I stumbled across a forum thread where people were sharing their go‑to sites for online entertainment. Most looked like the same old recycled lists, but one name kept appearing in a way that felt genuine. Out of curiosity, I clicked through and spent a bit of time exploring. The layout was clean, and I could easily find what I was looking for without clicking through endless pop‑ups. A few users mentioned https://www.mudsweatandtears.co.uk/ in their comments, and after browsing around, I can see why it gets recommended. It's not flashy, but it gets the job done.
