Adam Campbell signs for South Shields

We are delighted to announce the signing of highly experienced midfielder, Adam Campbell!

Born in North Shields, Campbell started his career at Newcastle United, he was a product of the Wallsend Boys Club, and whilst at the Magpies, he earned youth international honours with England at U16, 17 & 19 levels.

Campbell made his senior debut for Newcastle United in the UEFA Europa League in 2012 before making his Premier League debut the following season. During his time at Newcastle, he gained valuable experience through loan spells with Carlisle United, St Mirren, Fleetwood Town, Hartlepool United, and Gateshead. His most successful loan came at St Mirren, where he scored twice in the Scottish Premiership.

His performances earned him a move back into the EFL with Crawley Town in 2023. Campbell played an important squad role as Crawley secured promotion to League One through the League Two play-offs, making an appearance in the final at Wembley.

Across his career, Campbell has played in the Premier League, Scottish Premiership, English Football League, and National League, combining top-level experience with over a decade of senior football.

Adam added:

"It's brilliant to be here. It's nice and local, it's a club that wants to achieve things this season and get into the National League, and I'm really excited to get going."

"Working with Mike (Williamson) again was a massive factor. We spoke about how he wants to play and how I fit into that, and it's very similar to the concepts we had a lot of success with before. I'm excited to play under him again and show what I can do."

"When Mike took over, it was a no-brainer to sit down, have a coffee, and discuss what could happen this season. We were aligned on what we wanted to achieve, and after that first conversation, it only took a couple of days to get everything sorted."

Welcome to the Mariners, Adam! ⚓️

Adam Campbell looks like a very solid signing for South Shields. His experience from Newcastle, the Premier League, and several loan spells should bring quality and leadership to the midfield. It'll be interesting to see how he settles into the team this season. Off the pitch, I like learning about crypto too, and I've enjoyed free mining doge . It's been a fun way to explore how to mine Dogecoin in my spare time.

Scrolling through Australia gaming threads late one evening, I found this discussion refreshingly practical. People weren’t hyping every feature but were pointing out real usability aspects, like table contrast and interface clarity. It reminded me of my experience with casinogorillaonline.com , where navigation felt intuitive and well-balanced. The comment’s grounded style makes it feel like someone genuinely tested the platform rather than repeating generic advice
